A New Era for Alternatives: Why Wealth Firms and Asset Managers Need Intelligence More Than Access
By: Jeannette Kuda, COO of TIFIN AMP
Executive Summary
Access alone is not the solution. The industry now needs intelligence
The alternative investments landscape is undergoing one of its most significant shifts in decades. New legislative proposals could expand the accredited investor population dramatically, potentially doubling the number of U.S. households eligible for private-market opportunities. Greater access brings greater complexity and new responsibilities for wealth firms and the advisors who guide these decisions.
As Jeannette Kuda of TIFIN AMP explains in this member-exclusive article, access is no longer the main challenge. The real differentiator is intelligence: knowing which clients are truly ready for alts, where advisor interest is genuine, and how to ensure suitability as private markets reach a broader audience. Kuda explores the intelligence gap emerging across wealth and distribution teams, what firms should expect going forward, and why AI-driven insights are essential for navigating this next era of alternatives.
