Details of the Division and Team: 

DWS is a global organization providing discretionary and advisory asset management services.

Reporting into the Global Head of Distribution Intelligence & Enablement, the APAC CRM Associate within the APAC Client Coverage Division (CCD) will be responsible for all regional Salesforce initiatives, providing end user support and acting as a sales process specialist to develop innovative solutions for enhancing the user experience. In addition, the candidate will assist the APAC CCD COO with support on governance matters relating to sales & marketing activities as monitored or maintained in Salesforce.

The candidate shall support APAC CCD with a particular focus on enhancing the Client Relationship management process in Sales, Governance and Marketing activities.

The sales process to financial institutions is complex, varied and demanding. To be successful in this area, it is essential that the candidate understands how to navigate in a potentially complex environment as well as having a deep understanding of CRM systems in a financial industry sector.

The position is viewed as an important hire to build the DWS APAC CRM processes and supporting with governance matters for senior management monitoring and reporting.

Your key responsibilities:   

    • Data Mining and Management including managing data quality with regard to duplicates, missing values, etc.  Running reports for various business needs such as sales reporting, management reporting, data management, and ad hoc user requests.
    • User Training – Can effectively work with individuals to help increase their skill sets and use of the CRM platform
    • Manage the end-to-end implementation of all regional Salesforce project deliverables
    • Collaborate with the business and technical delivery teams through development lifecycle, to deliver a high quality solution that meets the client’s needs
    • Manage key business stakeholders to understand their requirements at a high level and set their expectations of delivery within this heavily regulated industry
    • Produce management reporting and creating sales/activity dashboards
    • Drive user adoption and deliver ongoing end user training
    • Ad-hoc troubleshooting and liaison with the development team
    • Regularly review and assess the control and governance on Salesforce client relationship management activities for the region, including user access, tracking of sales call reports and managing integrity of pipeline to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management
    • Ensure policies and procedures on Salesforce are updated in line with global best practice and local jurisdiction requirement
    • Providing support to all sales teams in the region covering all aspects of their risk, audit and incident management relating to Salesforce

Your skills and experience:

    • 2-3 years+ experience within Sales Support / Sales Enablement position ideally within Financial services sector
    • Experience and working knowledge with Salesforce is beneficial
    • CRM related experience, Salesforce is desirable but any CRM experience is acceptable. Understands the basics of a CRM platform and basics of user needs for a CRM platform
    • Experience of data migration projects either through initial seeding of CRM systems or data integrations to external systems to enrich existing CRM data, as well as experience of working with business to manage data quality
    • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail
    • Outstanding communication skills in English – both written and verbal.
    • Self-confident, robust, decisive, trustworthy and with excellent judgement on client matters.
    • Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, but able to operate in a team environment.
    • Awareness and working knowledge of the principles of effective project management, risk mitigation, risk management and governance
    • Able to present information, verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner, with excellent attention to detail
